Remembering trying this beer a few years ago ." Launched in 2006, Sagres Chopp is inspired by the recipes of brasilian beer, which are privileged by a great lightness and a very refreshing palate. 4.9 % alcohol." ahahah . Just a lame excuse to make a even crappier and watery beer than the regular Sagres and sell it. Reminds me of Budweiser so it’s something abhorrent.

(Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Clear, pale, pilsener golden with a white head. Sweetish malt aroma. Thin-bodied with very sweet malts and a dry, lightly hoppy finish. Drinkable all right. 240407

Bottled. A pale yellow beer with a lazing white head. Both the aroma and flavor are sweet with notes of straw, metal, and brewing cereal. Very pale lagerish - is that a perfect to style?

Bottled. Yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is malts and hops with some strange sweetness lurking. Flavour is very watery with some slightly hoppy hints. Not unclean, but rather boring.

Bottled (BB 02/2007)
Pale yellow color, small white head. Sweet apple cider aroma mixed with paperness. Sweetish malty with cardboard flavors - and yes - quite similar to its Brasilian namesake. Not horrible, just boring "tropical lager".

Bottled. Pale golden, near no head. Appley nose. Sweet, fruity and bland. Light bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Low bitterness. Extra bland commecial crap.
