Bottled at RBESG ’07. Nut brown. Sweet and syrupy, very caramelly. Full bodied with some crême brulée and soft mouthfeel. Reasonably well hopped. Warming and quite well balanced.

Chestnut coloured beer with no head. Perfumed fruity aroma with some banana and some malt. Sweet malty flavour, with some alcohol. Doesn’t the wee Prince Johnny deserve something more exciting?

Bottled. A murky red-brown beer with a thin and fast disappearing brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of over ripe fruit, berries, and some candy sugar. The flavor is very sweet with notes of alcohol right from the start, before notes of over ripe fruit and malt and berries sets in, which in time again is over powered by the alcohol this time with a tingling and warming sensation on the tongue. Too simple for the style. My bottle states it at 8.5% ABV.
