Bottled. A black beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of sweet and roasted malt, the latter lending it a bit of acidity. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, alcohol, roasted malt, chocolate, and licorice, leading to a dry finish, where the alcohol bites the tongue. Thanks omhper for sharing.

(Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of omhper. A black and opaque beer with an off-white head. Sweetish roasted malt and alcohol in the aroma. Quite full-bodied with roasted malt and very sweet licorice accents. Alcoholic finish, but no real bitterness to be found. 200908

Bottled@omhper-post-SBWF-1st-weekend tasting. Deep amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is fruits, yeast, licorice and some alcohol. Flavour is licorice, alcohol, spices. A rather nice thing. Pleasantly balanced flavour. As it gets slightly warmer it gets quite much coffee in it.

Bottled, thanks davidpl! Very black, small head. Aroma of chocolate, alcohol and licorice. Very sweet with vanilla and raspberries to go with the chocolate and licorice. The high sweetness bnurns and gets company of warming alcohol in the finish. Quite powerful, but the least well balanced beer from this fantastic brewer.
