Bottled at PBF (1994 vintage). Cloudy orange, fair sized head. Lemony nose with caramel and port. Dry with tart rhubarb. Medium bodied. Oxidation has dried it out,but it’s still fresh and alive. Unusual notes of rhubarb and strawberry. Light salty finish.

Bottled (1994 vintage). Amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is wood, some mild oxidated notes along with nice tart berries and earth. Flavour is wood, green gooseberries, wood and quite quiite dry and tart. Very pleasant and quite mellow.

Bottled (PBF, vintage 1994, courtesy of sayravai). Golden color, small white head. Earthy, cellary, berryish aroma. A bit sour but also quite fruity and berryish. Grapes, cherry, calvados, red currant. Flavor has less earthyness than the nose. Long sourish-fruity finish. Certainly a bit past its prime, but still very delicious.

(Bottle 75 cl) It’s extremely hard to put a style onto this beer - I’m open to different opinions. Deep, reddish golden with a minimal head. Extremely sour with a metallic finish. Inbetween you find some bitter citrusy notes. Brewed with roast chicory, coriander and orange peel. Very complex, very quenching - if you can deal with the acidity. I find it hard in this beer. 090897
