Handbottle 33 cl. Courtesy of AndreasJaeger. Pours a hazy orangey brown with an off-white head. Sweet roasted nose. Medium body, very hard roast malts with sweet vanilla accents. Distinct malt bitterness. Apparently no vanilla is added - just Dutch cocoa powder. 171210

From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy dark brown to black with a dense and chocolate brown head. Aroma is dark chocolate and roasted malt. Vanilla, chocolate powder and rather bitter to acidic. Hard roasted malt acidity, chocolate and hops bitterness. Ends dry and with a persisting vanilla note. A bit one dimensional heavy bitter and vanilla dense.
