Polotmavý speciál je charakteristický svou barvou laděnou do jemných granátových odstínů, příjemnou karamelovou příchutí a plností. Chmelová vůně a hořkost je u tohoto piva jemně potlačena proto, aby dala vyniknout příjemné karamelové chuti. Při výrobě Piráta používáme tři druhy ječných sladů a dvou druhy chmelových odrůd.

Bottle from brewery. Aroma and taste both raw yeasty, very young impression. Only background malt-hops interplay. Bitterness is OK, but overall poor. You can not rush a beer. Hazy colour too.

Bottle kindly shared by Gurthnar, many thanks. Hazy amber color with medium white head. Malty aroma with wet mop. Sweet caramel malt in aroma with yeast and diacetyl.

Bottle @ Fanø Slumber Party, 2012. Pours clear amber with a small white head. Toffee, grain and caramel. Smooth and sweet. Medium bodied.

Plastic bottle 100 cl. Courtesy of Christian/Dedollewaitor. Pours an almost clear amber with an off-white head. Fairly thick diacetyl aroma combined with sweet toffee. Medium-bodied, again caramel with a very subdued bitterness. 280712
