A fantastic example of a German Marzen. This malty lager is smooth, yet has a character backed by a 5.6% alcohol by volume. Bottle conditioned in a 22oz. bottle, Glacier Chaser is best when served in a imperial pint glass. Pour it gently to avoid rousing the yeast bed, yet be sure to induce a big head. The thick creamy head will retain throughout the entire life of the pint.

Bottled from Columbia Falls, MT. Hazy amber, small head. Buttery malt aroma. Medium bodied with clean mouthfeel. Fairly dry, buttery with some caramel. Salty finish. Too clean and hard to be pleasant.

Bottle: A dark copper pour with a thin sandy head. Light bits of sheet lacing. Lots of malts in the aroma, just a little bit of citrus sweet and some faint caramel. The taste is much more floral and even somewhat earthy. The sweetness and citrus is gone. Earthy, rye, malty, and florals. Lingering floral bitters finish. Nice.
