Poured up on tap at the Desert Edge with a nice murky opaque deep pale gold body and white head. The mild aroma is banana and grainy malts and little else. The taste is a mix of sweet banana, fresh grainy malts, a wort like sensation and then a thin ring of sweet apricot flavored bubble gum. It has a nice residual sort of fruity citrus finish to it. Nice Hefe.

Draught at the brewpub. Cloudy golden, minimal head. Neutral nose. Dryish and fruity with farly clean, spritzy mouthfeel. Fairly light bodied with straighfoward flavour, lacking all esters or phenols expected in a hefeweizen. An OK wheat ale.

On tap at Desert Edge
Appearance: Hazy straw with a small white head
Aroma: Lemon (from the lemon that was on the glass?), wheat
Taste: Wheat, citrus
OK for a Hefe, not my kind of beer.
