Arne Weisse is a wheat beer of southern German type. Gently hopped with organic Spalter Select, we let vetemalten and the good, good yeast play first fiddle.

Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival. Cloudy pale amber, rich head. Phenolic banana aroma. Mid sweet, rounded spritzy mouthfeel. Winegums and plums. Somewhat peculiar, but in a nice way.

From tap. Pours cloudy dark orange with a small white head. Aroma is yeasty and mild fruity. Bubblegum and fruity, slight chemical. Yeasty, light peppery flavoured. Bitter, herbal and bubblegum dry finish. Well made - not my kind of beer.

Draught at the Operagrillen
Cloudy amber color, creamy head. Strong aroma of mature banana, brown sugar, caramel; light cookies too. The mouthfeel is drier in the front and sweeter later; there is some flavor of wheat, some banana, brown sugar, very mild spices; the bitterness is just a bit too high for this beer. Still quite rough, but good.
