A tribute to John Trew, the man that built our brewery in Ft: William, Scotland. A north-english brown ale with a strong character of caramel and some notes of coffe. Combined with a clear bitterness from Admiral and taste and aroma from Challenger and Cascade.

Bottled at Captain Cook, Östersund. Murky brown, coarse head. Candy store aroma with menthe and raspberry. Roasty salty malt and crackers underneath. Dry and crisp with light body. Tutti frutti and spicy bitterness in the finish. Nicely drinkable.
