The first India Pale Ales were produced in England for export to their colonies in India. The higher hop content helped preserve the beer on its long voyage. At La Brü we brew this style with a generous quantity of Cascade hops.

12 oz bottle poured at Wing Army, Playa Del Carmen. Lighter golden yellow pour with a bit of haze to it. It is so refreshing to be enjoying an IPA after all these resort lagers. No matter how good the IPA is, this was going to be a great one no matter what. Floral hop aroma with a touch of mandarin orange reminder. Flavor is a moderate to heavy bitterness, floral hops. Orange peel linger. Cool and refreshing. Good IPA, butter than I expected.

Light citrus and some malt. Quite a bitter finish. Not as good as the fauna i just had, but well balanced and easy drinking.

Bottled. from BeerBox, Condesa, Mexico City. Cloudy golden, small head. Grapefruity nose. Mid dry with medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Lots of salty grapefruit. Long bitter finish. very harmonious beer with well integrated flavours.
