Tap at The Oak Barrel. Dark nut brown color, creamy beige head. Sweetish, caramel aroma. Medium-bodied. Harsh, some honey, sweet malty bock. Restless.

(Draught at Oak Barrel, Helsinki Airport, 31 March 2015) Dark reddish brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty nose with caramel, honey, a touch of brown sugar and dark bread. Malty taste with notes of caramel, dark bread, honey, some chocolate and a mild bitterness in a sweetish finish. More than medium body, with a certain sweetness. Fairly sweet, with a moderate bitterness, but the soft and chewy malt character makes it quite nice.

Tap at Jumpru, Oulu. Colour is brown with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Grain, bread, chocolate and roasted malts. Can’t find much honey (should there be?). Harsh in a good way. Clean. This beer has many good points. I like this bread element but this one is too sweet.

Draught @ Villi Wäinö. Aroma has hayish, grainy malt and some honey. Flavour has grainy malt, sweet honey, some roasted tones and hints of hay. Quite what it promises to be; a dunkler bock with honey added. Smooth and creamy palate. Too much honey for me, feels sticky and sweet. Drinkability is not that great.
