Sample @ Nieuwjaarsreceptie Gentse Biervereniging. Thanks for sharing! Hazy brown colour, beige foam. Sweet nose of caramel, liquorice, light roastiness. More sweet malts than bitter roastiness.

Bottled. A deep red beer with a thin tan head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and cardboard, as well as lighter notes of caramel. The body is light. Not much stout in this stout. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a clear orangey brown with a beige head. Burned caramel, and a somewhat farty aroma. Medium body, some hard and sweet roast and a little vanilla. Carbonation is a little much. Absolutely no hops - perhaps a little late licorice. 150211
