Bottle bought at Plevna in July 2022. Black with a large tan head. Smoke, licorice, light peat. The finish on the dry side.

33cl bottle from a trade with japppp, thanks! A black beer with big beige head. Aroma of intense smoked dark malt, some peat, ash. Taste of smoked dark malt, peated malt, some bacon, coffee, burned malt.

5.5% version. 0,33l bottle from the brewery. BBE 03/2022. Almost black beer with small head. Aroma has smoke, peat, caramel, dark malts. Flavor has smoke, peat, ashes, dark malts. Nice, smoky, very tasty.

Smell of smoke, peat. Black colour, negligible beige head. Aroma of tar, peat, licorice, roasted malt. Rather faint smokiness. Very low carbon. Dry ashy palate. Ok, but a bit wacky.

A black beer, almost without head, only some beige bubbles in the edge of glass. Aromas has dry smoke, liquorice, some tar caramel, nice. Taste has smoke, some tar, even peat, some caramel maltyness. Medium bodied. Very nice smoked beer, balanced, rich of flavours.

Bottle at tasting, thanks Cuso. Malty aroma and taste, peat, roasty notes, medium bitter. Medium body, malty peaty bitter finish. Ok.

Bottle from Euroswap, many thanks Japppp. Brown color with medium beige head. Aroma dark malt, licorice, light smoke. Taste, smoked malt, peat, smoke, very light caramel. Very good.

Keg at Old Bank, Turku. Black, minimal head. Licorice and lemon u front. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Burnt malt, licorice, sugar and lemon. Low-medium bitterness.

(Draught at Black Door, Helsinki, 25 May 2015) Black colour with creamy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of dark chocolate, coffee and gentle aromas of smoke. Malty, roasted taste with coffee, chocolate, black rye bread, balanced smoke flavours and a fairly dry finish with a balanced bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and well balanced with a gentle smoke character. Nice one.
