Bottle. Wine Rack, Sheffield. 2017 version. Funny how some beers with a different recipe to predecessors get aliased, and some get new entries, depending on who it suits? Pours a slightly dull looking, gold colour. Slimmest of dirty white head, that nevertheless sticks to the glass. Nose has, yep, fresh green hop. Wet and leafy, spicy, grassy, old world it is. Hint of Belgian shizzle. Bit of baked apple on top. Taste is baked apple sweet, for a moment, before getting fairly intense, hop oil, leafy bitter. Medium body. Low carbonation. Long, green hop bitterness to finish.

Level 42 bottleshare, Santa is flying past below! Thanks to Wingman. Hazy yellowish gold beer, thin pale cream colour head. Palate is airy, semi dry and has decent fine carbonation. Thin malts provide a modicum of sweetness. Mild bitterness contrast with sweet floralness. A little tangy citrus. Airy semi dry finish. Mild bitter linger. Fine.

Nice Belgian ale.
