RIppusellinen alkoholiakin havaittavissa. Keskitäyteläinen, matalahiilihappoinen, liukas ja öljyinen suutuntuma. Ei nyt ihan lähde.

Bottled, thanks oh6gdx! Clear mahogany colour. Raisiny nose with bread and figs. Sweet with full body and soft mouthfeel. Richly malty, somewhat soapy with figs and dates, notes of marzipan. Mildly warming finish. Nice, malty warming bock.

Bottled (from Alko Prisma, Vaasa). Deep amber colour, not quite copper dark, small beige head. Aroma is big time star anise, clove and even more artificial chocolate. Flavour is artificial chocolate, mild roasted notes as well as big time clove and star anise. Tone down the spices a bit and this could be nice, but as for now it’s just too much, even for me.

50cl bottle from Alko. Poured brown, mahogany color with a thin white head. Clove dominates the aroma, some caramel malt, sweetness and hint of bread. Flavor has sweetness, clove, malt and some chocolate. Low carbonation. Bit too much clove for my liking.

A dark brown beer, a head is very small and beige. Aroma has ryebread and some fruitful sweetness, hint of clove. Taste has richness of malts, ryebread, herbs, not too sweet, hint of alcohol. Composed clove in the end. Medium+ bodied, almost without carbonation slippery. Not for me even the richness of maltyness is fashinating. Not too much of cloves, luckily.

Bottle 500ml (Alko)
Clear copper-amber color, tiny off-white head. Malty with some caramalt and lots of clove. Medium-bodied, quite flat. Very malty, fruit cake, lots of clove and then some bitterness in the finish. Quite Christmasy and robust but I am not a big fan of clove in my bock. Also low carbonation is a bit strange.

(Bottle, 0.5 l - BB 23.4. 2016, from Alko, 20151106) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had malts, clove and berries. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were clove, malts, sweetness, berries, herbalness and bitterness. Aftertaste was spicy, malty, harsh and bitter. An unpleasant brew. I was expecting more.
