14/VIII/21 - 75cl bottle, shared @ Cantillon brewery (Brussels), BB: n/a (2021-785) Thanks to all for sharing today’s beers!

Clear orange blond beer, small creamy white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: yeasty, funky, brett, fruity touch, nice. MF: lively carbon, medium body. Taste: nice acidity, lemony, pretty bitter, hay, grains, cow fodder, bit spicy, nice! Aftertaste: dry finish, effervescent, spicy, funky, fruity, bit peppery finish, nice stuff going on here!

Ooh, now this is a nice one. Super smooth, and fairly sweet. Loads of sweet, soft, white wine flavours, but still remaining clearly a lambic. Lovely intensity in flavour, great balance. I'd like to drink more of this for sure!

On tap @Ma che siete venuti a fà (Rome). Dorata leggermente torbida, schiuma bianca media. Al naso note vinose, uva bianca, stalla, cantina. In bocca è bilanciatissima, con acidità media, forse un po' timida, ma raffinata. Corpo medio, carbonazione media. Molto buona.

Draught Very good ultra-fine and dense white head over ochre-golden beer, cold hazed. Very outspoken lambic nose with horseblanket, saddlesoap, musk, mould and citrusrind. Lemony flavour, less outspoken horesblanket than the nose suggested, barnyard flavours, and a serious hint at sweet sherry, especially backthroat, lending a nice balance. Quite slick, light acidthinning & -burn; good carbonation. Long aftertaste, emphasing the sweet sherry flavour. Delicate, very lambic-y version, always pleasing.

750ml bottle. Tart, funky and sourish with some vinous grapes, farmyardy notes and earthiness. Quite balanced and complex.
