northern Sweden have been added to this bold, brooding imperial stout, tempered only by a gentle touch of sweetness from whole Tahitian vanilla pods. Drink now or age for several years for added complexity.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Black with rich beige head. No surprisong aroma of vanilla and licorice with some tart blueberries. Mid sweet with full body and dense rounded mouthfeel. Caramel and licorice, blueberry pie with custard. Mildly peppery finish. Susprisingly good for a blueberry beer.

Bottle. Pitch black with a mid brown head, lots of lacings. Aroma is gently roasted with malt, coffee, leather as qell as sweeter notes paired with an obvious blueberry note. Taste is medium sweet and roasted notes up front, coffee, blueberries towards the finish which is dry, bitter with coffee notes. Medium body, round texture. Maybe a bit young, props for such distinct blueberry notes, body could be bigger. Very interesting!

Sample at SBWF 2016. Black with a small tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, vanilla, chocolate and blueberries. Similar taste. The body was full and the finish with warming alcohol. Maybe a bit young but still a tasty one.
