500 ml bottle @ the brewery. Clear dark brown, almost black with a small, beige head that slowly evolves to a perfectly looking two fingers head. Strong aroma of dark, medium roasted malt, coffee and hint of liquorice. Flavor is sweet dark malt, smooth roasted, mild coffee, dark chocolate, minerals, hint of salty liquorice, dry fruit and balanced bitterness. Fine balanced body and long lasting delicious aftertaste. All in all a very smooth, tasty and nice beer. Hope this one will end up as a regular.

Bottle, at the brewery. It’s a dark brown beer with a small, dense dark beige head. Some lacing. The aroma is bready, roasted and sure on the dark side of malts. Molasses. Some dark dried fruits. It’s full bodied, lightly warming and smoothly carbonated, semi sweet, with a subtle bitterness. Roasted malts, rye crackers, chocolate and some molasses. Dark, dried fruits. Really lasting finish with the dark malts dominating. Wonderful indeed. 170202
