Bottle on m/s Silja Symphony, Helsinki-Stockholm. Hazy dark amber with a medium head. Aroma and taste of smoke, some malt, bread and light ham. The bitterness was on the light side.

330 ml bottle, from a grocery store in Helsinki. ABV is 5.5%, EBU 20. Hop is Perle. Very dark brown colour, large beige head. Aroma of smoked and roast malts, also smoked meat and bonfires. Smoked malts in the flavour too, also dark bread.

Keg at SBWF. Hazy amber, mid sized head. Smoky bready nose. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Bread and salami smoke. Mid bitter finish. Nice!

(Bottle, 0.5 l - batch #499 - BBE 05/2018, from Alko, 20170929)The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and nearly white. Aroma had smoke, malts and caramel. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, caramel, smoke, tar, molasses and bitterness. Aftertaste had smoke, malts and bitterness. A nice smoky brew with spicy finish

Smell of smoke. Dark brown colour, high light brown head. Aroma of smoke, some caramel malt, a faint of hop and ash in finish. Smoky bitter. Medium carbon. Decent rauchbier.

50cl bottle from Alko. Poured deep mahogany color with a thick off white head. Sweet malts bread, tar and smoke in aroma. Flavor has bready malts, caramel, smoke and tar notes. Nicely balanced, gentle smoke but authentic.

A colablack beer, a head is medium and beige. Aroma has dry smoke, some meat and malts. Taste has less smoke than in the aroma, maltyness, some herbs. Medium bodied. More smoke would be great, and then it could be better, now too careful. Quite good anyway.

Tap at SOPP Lahti 2017, Lahti. Colour is slightly cloudy brown with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Some smoke, some syrupy sweetness, tar, bread, caramel and malts. Nice maltiness. OK light smoke beer.

Tap at SOPP Tampere. Clear nut brown color, small beige head. Sweetish smokey aroma. Light to medium-bodied. Smokey ham, sweetish, a bit grassy. Pleasant.
