Raven black with a hughe frothy tan head. The head stays for a long time. Ok lacing also. Decent intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a quite fine carbonation level. Feared it would be a to rich carbonation. Easy to drink. Mellow sweetness and a fine bitterness. Chocolate, coffee and roast are the main things in the flavor. Nice decent stout!

Svart med høyt beige skum som ligger lenge. Lukter korn, havre, lakris og mørk sjokolade. Lett. Noe salt lakris, kaffe og havre. Middels lang.

Big fizzy-creamy longlasting head. Aroma is slightly sour-ish dry roasted, weeds, minerals, bark, co2 stinging in the nose, burnt toast, burnt grain, paper, burnt coffee, burnt caramel. Taste is dry mineraly, weeds, burnt grain, burnt toast, burnt coffee, minerals, bark, burnt caramel, dark malts, cocoa, paper. Medium bitterness, burnt mouthfeel, fizzy carbonation. Meh!

Flaske fra Gulating Haugesund, hjemme: brunsvart med højt beige skum som oppfører seg helt eksemplarisk til siste slurk - gardin og tett film. Fin aroma av mørkbrent kaffe, mørk sjokolade og røstet malt. Rund og fyldig smak av det samme, men litt overkarbonert - de beste smaksinntrykkene får jeg helt mot slutten. Fint balansert, verken for tørr eller for søt. Lett å like, lett å drikke. Skal prøve flere fra dette nye bryggeriet!

Fra fat på Bryggerifestivalen i Trondheim 4 Aug 16. Svart. Filmskum. Bra aroma av sjokolade & lakris. Luftig munnfølelse. Smaken melkesjokolade. Tørr ettersmak.

Draught at Bryggerifestivalen, Trondheim. Near-black body. Slowly dissipating fawn-coloured head. Laces well. Smell of dark dough and liquorice. Taste of roasted black malts, hits of dark dough, earth, and liquorice. Ends malty with a roasted, rounded texture. Medium bodied. Decent (04.08.2016).
