This smooth badass is a crossbreed of american-style hoppiness and traditional germanic dunkelweizen. It’s hopped with Chinook, Citra, Magnum and Simcoe, and it has the sexiest label like ever.

Smell of grain, berries, some oak and licorice. Muddy brown colour, light brown head. Aroma strikes first with barbed hoppiness, going towards weizen-like yeast and breadiness, some oak and red berries in finish. Odd mixture of flavours, but avoids being messy. Weird but interesting weizen / brown ale combo.

Bottled, thanks oh6gdx! Hazy amber, small head. The nose is dominated by yeasty pears and grain. Sweet with medium body and clean, spritzy mouthfeel. Grainy pears, caramel and overripe fruit. Vegetable bitter finish. What is with the yeasty roughness of all things brewed at Anders?

Bottled (from Alko Keskusta, Vaasa). Orangeish brown colour with a small beige head, which disappears quite quickly. Aroma is banana, mild spices, some slight fruity and zesty notes. Flavour is banana, some spices, mild wooden and some smoked wet wooden notes along with mild yeast. Different, but in a pleasant way. Interesting "dry" wooden and slightly smoked notes.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BB 31/12/2017, from Alko, 20170221) The beer poured brown and quite cloudy. Its head was medium sized and nearly white. Aroma had caramel, spiciness and coriander. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, spiciness, malts, clove and bitterness. Aftertaste was spicy, malty and bitter. A decent dunkelweizen but too unbalanced

A brown beer, a head is big and light beige. Aroma has tropical mangos, some citrus and toffeeish maltyness with liquirice. Taste has tropical fruitness and mangos, fresh liquirice, some bitterness. Medium bodied, quite high carbonation. Now it’s tried to something new and succesfully. Very interesting and tasteful beer.

Bottled 330ml (Alko)
Dark amber color, small steady beige and some lace. Aroma has citrus, wheat, banana. Medium-bodied. Hoppy wheaty dunkelweizen, similar to some other German-crossovers. Weizen notes and then gooseberry and citrus hops. Alcohol and hops cover the most of German dunkelweizen flavors. Also a bit dry, could be a bit more estery, yeasty. Tolerable.
