Our black IPA stands out from its colour and the smooth, deep aromas, which are induced by the addition of roasted malt. At first, this BIPA reminds you of coffee and then in the aftertaste the bitter-fruity hops aromas hit your palate. This hybrid is a very mild version of a dark ale and an IPA and delivers the best of both beers to bring you a unique IPA experience.

Draught @ The Alehouse - Palmhof, Zürich. Pours cloudy copper brown with airy beige head. Clear aroma of malt and caramel, with estery and roasty notes. Bitter flavour of hops and roast, with weird fruity grassy notes and mild, sweetish touches of yeast and malt. Bitter and estery aftertaste with citric notes. Decent, although the fruity notes taste a bit synthetic.

Bottled, thanks Bov! Dark brown, mid sized head. Rich aroma of licorice and pine. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Licorice and dark bread. Pine needles leads to a mildly resinous finish.
