Doused with exotic warm spices, Paranormal evokes the aromas of pumpkin pie, graham cracker crust, and the toasty aura of autumn. Pouring with an otherworldly orange glimmer, Paranormal channels the subtle blend of cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and allspice in the spirited body of a 10% alc./vol. beer. Brewed with roasted pumpkin and spices, Paranormal’s rich mouthfeel and a slightly hazy body emerge from a realm where substance and shadow cross.

Reddish brown with a medium sized foamy tan head. Strong cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger with caramel and booziness underneath. Very long finish. Moderately full bodied.

Another pumpkin beer spice bomb. This is just not for me. The spices are over the top. It’s like I stuck my tongue into a bowl of cinnamon, cardamon, and nutmeg. The alcohol is well hidden though, so this one so it can really sneak up on you. The finish is quite dry, and there is next to no bitterness. Really it’s just a spice bomb, with not much else going on.

Grabbed today from Julios. Darker mahogany pour than expected and minimal head. Nose is heavy spice and rich canned pie filling. Tatses of rich squash and heavy on the cinnamon, some cloves and the All Spice reminds of cracking blue crabs in MD. Some booze is present with alcohol filmy slickness on finish. Spicing tingles the lips.

Blik thuis geprobeerd met Roelzie. Het is een helder amberkleurig bier met een volle beige schuim. Het heeft een kruidige geur van kaneel en speculaas. De smaak is vol, kruidig, kardemom en kaneel. Met een warme afdronk.

Poured from 473mL can (pkg 16/03/2021; bb 16/03/2026). Clear dark orange with full beige head. Tons of nutmeg, allspice, and clove, a bit of cinnamon and ginger, boozy, hint of crust. Nice flavours for a pumpkin ale, a little too boozy, and some may dislike how spice forward this is.

Sensory Session #38: clear, dark amber comor and a nice off-white head. Spicy nose, Christmas style, speculoo, cinnamon, cardamon, plums. Taste follows the nose. Bitter, but rather short finish. Nice spicy balance anf well hidden alc.

Can from Beer Republic. Light hazy amber red with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, pumpkin, heavy cinnamon and other spices. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Sweet and rather bitter finish with warming alcohol. Way too spicy. 050521
