Booming Rollers™ is a showcase for the juicy awesomeness of Citra hops. These new wave American hops impart a remarkable aroma and flavor, which we've amplified with the dark stone fruit character of New Zealand-grown Motueka hops. Some Centennial is thrown in to balance the tropical fruit party, and the malt body is just assertive enough to support Booming Rollers' snappy bitterness. It's a party in your mouth and all the beautiful people are invited.

Poured from the tap @ MT Lomaland. Hazy yellow with small white head. Tropical hops, mild yeastiness, okay.

Golden colour with lasting head. Aroma and flavour have initial skunky and resinous hop notes. Taste fades quickly.

26/III/20 - 1Pt. 3.2Fl. Oz. can as a gift, shared @ home, BB: n/a, canned: IX/25/19 yet only bought mid-March in the States! :-( (2020-279) Thanks to Akke for the can!

Little cloudy deep orange beer, big creamy off-white to yellowish head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: lots of tropical fruits, orange peel, passion fruits, grapefruit, oxidized, malty. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: soft bitterness, bit malty, bit sweet, orange peel, more bitterness, bit oxidized. Aftertaste: metallic touch, orange peel, too bad, very oxidized, not very good anymore. Shouldn’t have been sold anymore…

Taster showing pale amber with sparse white foam. The nose shows moderately intense notes of pine and light malt. The palate is well carbonated and medium bodied. Light flavors of pine and pineapple with a balanced sharp IPA bitterness on the finish.

473ml can. Opalescent, orangey golden colour with small to average, thick, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Somehow subdued, citrusy and piney, hoppy aroma, hints of orange and pineapple, whiffs of lemon and lime, lemon balm. Taste is crisp, bitter, piney, and citrusy hoppy, slightly diluted hints of orange and pineapple with a slight jelly bear character, some lemon balm, a touch of lime zest; rather weak, pale malty basis with a minimally strawy and spicy touch. Slightly disappointing compared to my (admittedly limited) experience of Modern Times brews.

Can. Aroma is full on citra, grapefruit, more citrus, juicy. Taste is similar, quite bitter, very fruity, cereal malt, very easy drinking. Nice stuff.
