Our Cerveceria Dos Aves Imperial IPA is an intensely hoppy, very strong pale ale without the big malt flavors of our American Barley Wine. This ale is strongly hopped, but clean, lacking harshness, and a tribute to historical IPAs. Drinkability is an important characteristic; this is not a heavy, sipping beer. It also does not have much residual sweetness or a heavy character grain profile.

Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 6.5
Keg at Drunkendog, Mexico City. Hazy golden, rich head. Aroma of guava and honey. Sweet with medium to full body and well rounded mouthfeel. Fruity with citrus and honey, some mealy guava. Mid bitter finish. Well made.
