Sampled at the RBBWG 2017. Thnx for sharing, everyone ! Pours black, big grey head. Smell is goatcheese, really intensely so. Taste is bit bitter, very roasty. Bit coffee bitterness.

Huge greige head over virtually black beer. Sweet, liquorice, wood, pine, but rather volatile, ending a bit dull. Liquorice, ashes, chalk, roasted. Demure, but not as dull as the nose suggested. Medium bodied, quite well carbonated. Sweet porter.

Thank you markoijelena! 330 ml. bottle sampled @ RBBWG VI (2017). Black, creamy tanned head. Nose is herbal, thin coffee grounds, lactose, sugar, basic roasted grains. Taste is herbal, thin fizzy, roasted malts, odd red grape note, boozy, coffee grounds, licorice. Body is thin roasted coffee grounds, red grape. Feels too grainy, thin for me, messy.

Clear dark brown beer, creamy beige head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: sweet, caramel, dried fruits, sweet, some chocolate, bit of vanilla. MF: lively carbon, medium body. Taste: bit sweet, coffee, caramel, bitter touch, malty, grains. Aftertaste: little sourish, hoppy, charcoal, ok but not impressed.

Bottle pours out dark brown almost black topped with a tan head. Nose is smoke ash roast malts. Taste is more of roast malts chocolate rich malts some ash and light smoke.

Zadnja u seriji Viških piva. Ovu sam pio u točenoj verziji, sa kupnjom u boci se nisam ni zamarao. Kao i prethodne i ova me razočarala. Gorčina je bila nekako neprirodna. Pa koji god sam ja porter skuhao bio mi je finiji od ove. Možda sam previše očekivao od tih viških piva, pa me surova realnost još više dotukla. Ajde nisu baš pive za bacit, ali jednostavno nisam uživao u njima kao u nekih drugim hrvatskim craftovima tipa Zmajsko, Nova runda itd...

Bottle, 330 ml from supermarket in Zagreb. Pours dark brown, beige head. Chocolate, some coffee, cocoa, roasted malts, light sweetness. Lasting bitter finish, light sourish note, moderate carbonation.

330ml bottle shared by ippopotamo36 (thanks Alberto!). Nera, densa, quasi impenetrabile, schiuma media color cappuccino, molto persistente. Naso leggermente sporco, notte nette di tostato, caffè, cioccolato fondente. In bocca è ottima, veramente ben equilibrata, latte, cioccolato fondente amaro, caffè. Corpo medio, carbonazione corretta. Ottima!

Bottle at a private tasting in Rome-Italy, with daniele and Mortlach. Black pour, tick and frothy brownish head. Nose: chocolate coffee, milk a bit, cherry too. Mouth: watery, relevant coffee, dusty a bit, astringent. lovely one. Thanks heavy.
