A fresh sheet of snow clings to the limbs of the great Maple Tree. The ancient maple provides this frigid winter’s day with a touch of majesty as it glimmers in the afternoon sun. We take our Undead Party Crasher American Imperial Stout and age it in bourbon barrels that aged premium maple syrup to create Snow on the Maple Tree. A strong and sweet taste of maple flows throughout, with dark malts providing a rich and full-bodied flavor.

12oz can. Big and boozy. Stout base is dry but the rest is super maple. You know, its not bad. Surprisingly smooth for Clown Shoes. 8 4 7 3 13

Malmö February Tasting@Palace Hall (25/02/2023) - dark roasted and sweet malty with notes of rich cocoa, brown sugar, then the rich maple kicks in, sweet sticky maple, dark malty spiced finish.

From a 568ml can on 13/3/2021 (2020 version, shared with Butz, ABV listed as 10%, not 12.5%). Pours near black with a big tan head. Smells quite strongly of maple, dark chocolate and a good dash of booze. Tastes medium sweet, with maple syrup, dark chocolate, caramel, and some dark and dried fruits, with a slightly roasty, boozy bitterness. The mouthfeel is a touch oily the carbonation softish. A very solid and enjoyable big sipper, but not sufficiently good to justify a revisit at the price.

Tall boy. Pours clear black, small tan head, some lacing. Aroma is not very maple, more earth, bakers cocoa, hint of vanilla, oak. Flavor is medium sweet, medium bitter. Medium plus body. Bit of a let down, honestly.

Pours a dark, oily black, with smallish tan head. Aroma is coffee, chocolate, leather, dark fruits. Flavor is coffee, chocolate, dark fruit, leather, some very light bourbon notes. Finish is rather dry. Not a lot of sweetness to this. The ABV is well-hidden for such a high-alcohol beer. This is quite a surprise, actually...

Bottle at Home. Roasted malts, massive coffee, bourbon, caramel syrup, fairly sweet, a bit cloying, otherwise a nice sippper. Purchased at Consumer's Beverages
