American IPA meets Belgian Witbier. Yankee is a hybrid of the two styles, hopped like an American IPA with the malt bill of a wheat beer and fermented with Belgian Wit yeast. Big Citrus and Peach fruity profile with subtle spice from the Belgian yeast. Yankee has a soft body, light mouthfeel giving the beer a crisp with a refreshing finish. Yankee White IPA has all the complex hop flavour of an IPA and is finely balanced with the bright flavour of a wheat beer!

330ml can at home. Pours an enticing hazy yellow orange with a decent white head. Well balanced wheat and ipa aromas, tropical fruit and spice. Full creamy mouthfeel, tastes of tropical fruit, banana, bubblegum, some caramel. Lovely bitter finish.

Draft @ Moeder Lambic Original, Irish Craft Beer #1, courtesy of Pierre T and shared with 77ships.

THANKS! Sampled draft @ Moeder Lambiek Original. Clear golden, little white head. Nose is massive cat piss hops, tad milky, whole is a bit more sweet lemon like than anything raw. Taste is mellow, rather bland, corn & cat piss hops, those are mellow, tad sugar, oily, basic bland, bit too sweet. Meh.

Light blonde, whitish haze, dense frothy head
Aroma of lemon zest, fresh hoppy, soft herbal hop, light malt background, spicy peppery, quite complex, very good
Taste as nose, fresh hoppy zest, very light malt, peppery, spicy, just fresh fresh
Palate - Medium carb and body, peppery spicy fairly bitter, no claggy malts. Finish as main flavour, clean
Overall - Very good job - so fresh out of the can
