American IPA meets Belgian Witbier. Yankee is a hybrid of the two styles, hopped like an American IPA with the malt bill of a wheat beer and fermented with Belgian Wit yeast. Big Citrus and Peach fruity profile with subtle spice from the Belgian yeast. Yankee has a soft body, light mouthfeel giving the beer a crisp with a refreshing finish. Yankee White IPA has all the complex hop flavour of an IPA and is finely balanced with the bright flavour of a wheat beer!

Tap at Unorthodox. Assertively perfumey, floral, spicy. Quickly balanced by bitterness, but not heavily leaning on bitter side, rather in the middle. Hops character rather subtle too, wheat element is on top. Grassy zesty feeling. Easy drinking, med-thin body, med-high carbonation. Quite good.

Light citrus and some clove. Pours clear golden with decent head and lacing. Light sweet finish. Mostly a witbier, but with a very light dose of aromatic hops. Can in Dublin.

From the can. Hazy straw color with a frothy white head. Aroma of lemon peel and citrus. Taste is bitter a bit yeasty with grapefruit and lemony undertones. Finishes with clove on the tongue. Body is medium, dry, carbonation is moderate. Refreshing.

Hazy pale blond colour with lasting head. Interesting beer with elements of an IPA and a Wit but also funky hay and wild yeast. Bretty and skunky. It's not clear if this is intentional but luckily I like it.

330ml can at home. Pours an enticing hazy yellow orange with a decent white head. Well balanced wheat and ipa aromas, tropical fruit and spice. Full creamy mouthfeel, tastes of tropical fruit, banana, bubblegum, some caramel. Lovely bitter finish.
