Our interpretation of a Belgian style quad, Four Ale is reddish brown in color and has flavors of raisin, candied fruit, and plum. We brew this beer with four malts (Caramel, Munich, Carapils, and 2-row), four sugars (Cane Sugar, Date Sugar, Belgian Dark Rock Candi, and Molasses), four hop varieties (Perle, Hallertau, Tettnang and Czech Saaz) and undergoes four fermentations, using four different yeast strains. The result of this elaborate brewing process is a complexity of flavor, aroma and mouth feel we believe is truly worth savoring.

Wonderful. Pours cloudy orange with good head and lacing. Aroma of raisins, candied malt, figs, some booze and a touch of spice. Also some caramel in malt. Finishes with light sweetness and some tang. Soft carbonation. Thick consistency. Tap at brewery.

On tap @ Rattle N Hum. A cloudy deep dark plum orange one almost a bit bronze with a nice medium sized off-white lacing top. Smells nice with a good malty sweetness, some fruity tones and a good dash of caramel. Not extreme at first to be honest, but I like what I smell. It's quite tasty, I get a herbal almost tea like thing here at first. Walnuts and nut cake with a soft acidity and yeasty undertones. It's thick and only on the mouthfeel with a soft prickling carbonation level. Served quite cold, but it opens more up on the nose after a while with a little bit of tobacco and dates. Not a super extreme beer, more balanced and something you can sip and enjoy. I sure did! 21.06.2013

From a 75 cl bottle shared in Avon NC. Pours a light cola with a thin off white head. Light cherry aroma. Flavors of caramel, light toffee, red fruits and some feint sour yeast notes. Medium mouthfeel with light carbonation. Hides the alcohol well.
