We macerated local tart cherries of the Gorsem varietal for eight weeks in a beer brewed nine months before. After maceration, we aged the beer further in a freshly emptied Bordeaux barrel, for six more months. Bottled July 2019.

Beautiful reddish colour, some foam. Very fruity nose, intense on the cherries. Taste is juicy cherries, light sweet, nice tart, vinous woody notes. Very good!

Ultra-intense cardinal red beer with pink-cyclamen head, eyeshattering. Intense sour cherries, cherry kernels and -skins, cherrysweets, cherry liqueur (Heering). Intense cherry as none, as like starting to warm up cherries for making jam. Fully fruit-filled, medium togood carbonation. This is exceptional, only to be compared with the polypins kriek Louis Cnudde made to blend to his Oud Bruin.

Sour cherry perfection basically. Soft balanced acidity and a crapload of delicious sour cherries. Goes well with cake.
