Malt forward with sufficient bitterness on the palate with medium dry body and layers and layers of smoke. Extraordinarily well executed. Head to head with Fujizakura Rauch a the best in japan with a touch more bitterness but never actually hoppy. Tap at Komachi. Big Bamberg-style smokiness, light varamel, slightly fruity. Near to a Schlenkerla. Rich malt flavor, great smoke and umami, as it warms more and more shiitake comes out, but not huge. Good flavor.
