Bottle from Terre de Boissons Calais and drunk on a train. Dark brown ruby colour. Lasting tan head. Some obvious barrel ageing in the mouth. I mean it's not subtle. Cognac wood wood cognac. Woody finish. Yes I liked the warming alcohol but just not my kind of beer. Base beer is smooth but almost impossible to tell what it was due to the deciduous forest added later.
