One of Tseut’s tripels, apparently one I have missed so far, now sampled at Maldegems Bierfestival. Snow white, moussy, foamy, bit irregular and quickly opening, but edge-retaining head, misty apricot blonde robe with golden hue. Aroma of peach, banana, strong DMS (overcooked broccoli), cooked potato, raw turnip, dough, camomile, rainwater, minerals. Sweetish onset, light banana ester, notes of unripe pear and peach, quite harshly stinging carbonation; fluffy bready maltiness, bit cereally, with floral hoppiness in the finish adding light bitterness, but the DMS returns as well, much to my annoyance. Not Tseut’s best effort, neither technically nor conceptually – and completely redundant even within their own range. Why create yet another cliché blonde like this?

T: malty, very fruity, bit banana, orange peels, spicy, yeasty, medium body, high bit sharp carbonation, soapy mouthfeel, enjoyed but nothing special and memorable, 33cl bottle from Bierwinkel De Hopduvel in Gent.

Thank you for sharing tderock + kraddel! Sampled bottled @ Bruges Beer Festival 2017. Obtained by Kraddel using his mad negotiating skills. Hazy orange, off-white head. Nose is sweet banana, Belgian esters, white sugar. Taste is chemical banana, super big on candy, soap, bubblegum. Body is fizzy, esters, artificial. Meh, fizzy, ester heavy, soapy, artificial tasting,.... another one of these tripels.
