Bottle from Prik & Tik, Sijsele. Shared with Anke. Pours hazy dark brown to black with a lasting, very thin, yellowish beige head; little lacing. Aroma of wood, oak, sour cherry, vinegar, port, fondant, peanuts, hay, salted caramel, dry-cured ham (prosciutto crudo!), cheese, raisin, dried fig. Taste is medium funky sour, lots of vinegar, sour cherry, cheese & dried berries, a bit lactic with a leathery note; light woody bitter middle has toast, nuts & slight sweetish caramel, bit herbal too. Dryish, woody finish, late earthy hops falling in, lactic & vinegary until the very end where a subtle dash of warimng whisky- or port-like alcohol pops up. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Very interesting take on the style, so very good.

Drucken på fat på Malmö Brewings Taproom med Vignale. Mörkt brun med lågt skum. Komplex mörk öl med stor kropp, sötsyrliga smaker med mörk stenfrukt, vanilj, fat, tanniner, mjuk rund bärig vinäger och en lätt torvsmak med lite tjära. Smakerna gifter sig fint. Riktigt gott.

Saturday 2nd Feb 2019. Huis De Cluuse, Brugge. 33cl glass on-tap. Like the same breweries 'Banjo Funeral' that I had before this, I found this interesting and different as my senses tried to pick up the aromas and taste. Black bodied with a smooth tanned blanket of foam on top. Tart Red Wine with a woody feel, sour cherries and berries also seemed to arrive in the flavour as I struggled to define/separate the tastes and smells within the brew.

330 ml bottle. Pours a very dark brown with moderate head. Aromas of fruity dark chocolate and slick toasted malts. Flavors of a creamy rich stout with addition of tart berries and oak.

Mørk brun med fingerhøyt lys brunt skum. Lukter sure bær, kirsebær og eddik. Middels fylde. Smaker sure bær, men ikke som forventet ut fra lukt. Fizzy start.

From the bottle. Very dark—almost black. A beige head turns creamy and lingers. Aroma, predictably, full of whiskey and oak. Taste is sour the whole way through with just a touch of underlying sweetness. Lingering hints of vinegar and whiskey at the finish. Body is medium. Carbonation is moderate. Good.

Draught at BeerGeek Bar. Cloudy, dark red to brown colored. AROMA- sour, prunes, pleasant alcohol. FLAVOR- moderately sour, a bit sharp, sour cherries, dark fruit, strong plum jam (povidla) flavor. Fuller bodied.
