Bottle (in Xi’an). Clear golden with good white head, albeit short lived. Pretty basic malty aroma - nothing special. Thin body and medium carbonation. The flavour is very restrained. It is OK, somewhat malty and little else. Overall, there is nothing wrong with this beer (especially deep in Asia), but equally there is nothing to recommend it.

Da sitzt man seit einer Woche in China und schaut, wleches Bier man heute zum Essen bekommt. Hinten in der Ecke steht es... Hans. Hans? Ein chinesiches Bier, das Hans heißt?? Einfache Erklärung: Dortmund ist die Partnerstadt von Xian, der Chef der Dortmunder Actien Brauerei heißt Hans - so einfach kommt das Hans Bier daher. Das Bier ist leicht herb und zeigt sich besonders im Mittelteil süß, im Nachgeschmack süß und malzig im Unterton. Recht süffig, dabei zwar mild, aber für chinesiches Bier in Ordnung.
