Sehr schön hell gelb. Der Antrunk ist frisch-fruchtig (Banane), zum Hauptteil entfaltet sich eine angenehm süßliche Note, die aber insgesamt etwas wässrig / flach bleibt. Der Nachgeschmack ist ingesamt etwas flach, aber doch mild-frisch und angenehm hopfig-frisch und ganz leicht herb.

2l siphon, kindly donated by Shaney from BTO. Clear golden colour, large white head. Floral hoppy nose. Light- to medium-bodied, solid malty background with nice floral hops, shy hints of herbs and citrus fruit. A well-balanced and very nice example of the style.

Draught in Margaretenklause in Bruhl (near Cologne). Golden with a fast-diminishing head. Aroma is malty with some grassy hops. Flavor is malty and grainy, with a bit of hops towards the finish. Medium-bodied. An average Kolsch.

Die Krone gefällt bei diesem Kölsch, dicht und langanhaltend. Der Antrunk ist hopfig - wässrig, der Mittelteil eher würzig. Beim ersten Schluck war hier merkwürdigerweise ein extrem metallerner Geschmack vorhanden, beim 2. Schluck war keine Spur mehr davon zu erkennen. Der Nachgeschmack ist grasig hopfig und hält mittellang. Gelungenes Kölsch, jedoch kein Überflieger. Test vom 30.10.2005, Gebinde: Fass Noten: 14,11,12,12,-,12 - 12,05
