Pours a cloudy yellow with a white foamy head. Nose of banana, cloves, and citrus. Smooth and clean mouthfeel. Flavor is the same banana, clove, and citrus as the nose with some yeast added. Finish is fruity. Enjoyable.

Erfrischend hefiger, relativ milder Beginn. Geringe aber passende Säure, etwas stärkere Herbe. Ab dem Mittelteil deutlich milder, erfrischend aber eher belanglos. OK! 12/9/10/8/8/9

bottle, bought near the brewery, labelled Nagolder Weißbier, ABV 5.0%. Cloudy yellow colour, large and creamy white head. Fruity-yeasty nose. Full-bodied, lots of wheaty and yeasty flavours with some shy hints of banana and mango. Pleasantly malty with a slightly citrusy character. A really good example of the style - I liked it very much. As far as I know Gambrinus Nagold was a different brewery and has nothing to do with Anker.
