0,33 l bottle bought at the brewery. It´s only called Weizen, without the second name Typ I or Typ II. The alcohol content ist on the old school label now listed with 5.3%. Murky orange in the glass, white short living head. Yeast and mangofruit on the nose. Starts more bitter, light fruity but no banana. Later increasing bitterness, malty background. Very low carbonated. Not really what you expect under a Weizen. And not easy to drink.

Fruchtig bitterer Antrunk, mild hefig, was sich aber zum Mittelteil steigert. Die hopfige Bitterkeit ist hier weiterhin das stärkste Aroma, leicht herb. Mit der Zeit kommt der Hopfen selber in den Vordergrund, hefige Noten sind nur noch hintergründig warnehmbar. Nettes Bier, nicht unbedingt, wie man ein deutsches Weizen kennt. 8/8/9/9/9/9
