As Mayers Brauwerk Halali Edelbock. Huge thanks to Erzengel for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass dark brown, small head. Starts intense malty, alcoholic, some metallical notes as well. Shy herbal notes. Finish less intense, again metallical. Shy woody-spicy notes. Okay.

A clear reddish brown beer with a beige head. Aroma of strong dark malt, caramel, some dried fruits. Taste of mid sweet strong dark caramelized malt, some coffee, dried fruits.

Big thank you to Erzengel for this 0,33 l bottle. BB 06/2025. Dark red brown in the glass, slightly cloudy, small pale beige head. Malty aroma, woody alcoholic sweetness. Some vanilla. Taste starts malty, some wood, alcoholic sharpness. Low carabonation. A little bit overdosed on the boozy side.

28-12-18 // 500ml bottle from Getränke Kares. Shared. Dark brown. Nice colour. Beige head. Creamy. Roasted malts. Medium sweet. Solid roast bitterness. Good bock.

Herb malziger, nicht übermäßig intensiver Antrunk. Der Alkohol ist deutlich erkennbar, deutlich würziger werdend, wenig röstig. Hopfig, wenig fruchtig in der Malzigkeit. Hopfig malzig auch im Abgang. Gelungen. 8/10/11/12/10/10

Fruity notes that aren’t too fruity and don’t add an inapproprate bitterness as could easily be the case. Good aftertaste consistent with the beer and style.

Amber color, clean; the small-sized head is not very persistent. The smell of deep fry in the restaurant covers the aroma of the beer, some alcohol appears, this is not enough. Reasonable body strength, with a quite good caramel flavor, and light residual sweetness; the alcohol is a bit too evident. Not bad, but a bit industrial-style; but finally quite tasty.
