330ml bottle [#51/537]. Cloudy, dark amber colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Sweet-ish, caramel malty and woody aroma, notes of caramel, some sherry, vanilla, a fruity touch of cherry. Taste is slightly dry woody, minimally tannic, minimally sweet caramel malty, notes of caramel, oak, vanilla, hints of sherry, well hidden alcohol - a minimally warming, alcoholic touch crops up only in the finish. Watery texture, soft palate, fine, prickly carbonation. Highly drinkable due to the tart-ish, tannic aspects; really woody as the name suggests - pretty nice.

Alkoholisch süßer, etwas oxidierter Antrunk. Der Alkohol verschwindet schnell, mit ihm scheinen sich aber auch alle anderen Aromen zu verabschieden, wenig herb, etwas Vanille. Ok. 7/9/8/8/11/8
