Bottle. Pours a black color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty coffee chocolate aroma. Roasted malty chocolate coffee flavor. Has a roasted malty coffee finish.

Sampled at Ace&Kees! festival. Almost black with dark beige head. Sweet sugary grains, roast, sweet coffee, dark earthy roast, blackberries. Rye bread, earthy dead leaves. Quite sweet but also a thick roasted bitterness. Almost full bodied. It’s nice, but not the Black Albert I remember.

Sampled at Ace & Kees. Bottle. Black with light tannhead. Big sweet deep roasted chocolate malts, dark fruit, rye, brown sugar, not so much coffee. Booze. Big sweet and bitter. Full body and soft carbonation. Bit boozy.

Many thanks to Erzengel for sharing! A black beer, no head. Aroma of strong mid sweet dark malt, bourbon, coffee. Taste of strong dark malt, coffee, bourbon, riped fruits. Nice!

Again from kappldav123. Thanks for sharing. Again jet black in the glass. Strong fruity choco alcoholic smell. Taste starts relative smooth, fruity, dark choco, some sweetness, barrelwood, resin. Increasing dry coffee and alcoholic to boozy. Coffee bitterness. Warming. Complex stuff.

Many thanks to Kappldav123 for sharing! Smooth deep malty beginning. Thick and rich, lots of coffee, nice smooth bitter roasted. Hints of vanilla, deep with a long fruity roasted espresso but sweetish milk-coffee aftertaste. Deep, rich, not too sweetish and intense dark bitter sticky roasted. Fantastic brew!

Bottle at home. Looks really good. Beer in the glass deep black, almost no head. Heavy malty aroma. Starts intense malty, stouty, earthy notes. Nice coffee hints. Also hints of liquorice. Finish milder, balanced-malty, softer stouty notes. Some woody hints. Interesting.

Bottle split at CBC Islo Matteo ciao, thanks to Mitch, 20/02/17. Black with a dirty tan cap. Nose is chocolate, earthy notes, light coffee grinds, spice, toffee. Taste comprises toffee fudge, dried fruits, charr, coffee beans, vanilla lick, fruit cake, chocolate. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a pinch of booze. Run of the mill impy and sub par for style ... bit of a let down here.
