In my opinion, this beer is too sweet, honey, honey and honey, it could be a bit more malty. It is like a medicine from a chemist shop, 12.08.2016, buying it at one coop, drinking it at Prélaz, Lausanne

Appearance: Yellow golden, clear. Small, fizzy off-white head. Aroma: Strong honey, floral. Not much more. Taste: Lots of honey, floral. Then even more honey. And honey aftertaste. A bit one dimensional. Bought: Locher Appenzeller Bier, 330 ml, CHF 1.70 Info: 16/9-2022, BB: 28/10-2022

hazy pale yellow colour, large dense and long lasting head; aroma is dominated by (artificially intensive) floral honey - and basically this is it; taste of a sweet lager with intensive artificial honey notes - it's rather an attack against the consumers than a beer...just simply horrible and almost completely undrinkable - in fact, it is the first beer in Switzerland what I could not drink! just horrible!

6x0.33l bottles from a local Spar. pours a cloudy honey yellow with some sediment, a medium white head and a nice lacing. strong aroma of honey, some grains. flavour of honey, grains, hay. sweetish in the beginning, but the sweetness is not overwhelming. interesting.

Heller Antrunk mit deutlichen Honignoten. Die milde Herbe kommt kaum durch, spritzig, zum Ende wenig bitter. Dabei bleibt das Honigaroma vorhanden ohne wirklich süß zu sein. Gut! 9/9/8/8/10/8
