OUR STRAIGHT-UP STRAIN: THE ‘BLUE DREAM’ IPA

Trailblazers don’t torch a new passageway and then stop; they keep finding new ways in and new ways back out. That’s exactly what we did with our metamodern IPA conceived of hand-selected hops from down under. Malt barley and red wheat combine to create a clean malt backbone with a foolproof flavor and mouthfeel to support America’s sneak peek at Enigma, Vic Secret, Ella and Galaxy hops. The hops strum juicy and sweet aromas with headline notes of passion fruit, raspberries, pineapple and citrus. This intense, straight-up strain is Oskar Blues IPA (6.43% ABV).

Smash a Blue Ferrigno… and it’ll smash back.

Lys brun klar med fingerhøyt offwhite skum. Lukter sitrusskall, og grapefrukt. Søt fruktig start, middels bitterhet overtar helt fra midten og ut.

Draft at the supermarket! Nice clean citrusy IPA but pine elements are in there too. On the light side, body-wise. Golden color, crackery malts. update can: a really solid and clean IPA with unobtrusive malting and a good citrus hop presence.

I like this very much. When I opened the can there was an immediate aroma of juicy hops and some malt wafting about. Flavor’s similar to nose, plenty of hop bitter to stand up to lots of malt sweet and just right carbonation. Extremely drinkable.

Can from Cotteridge Wines; clear amber pour with a massive frothy white head, aroma has resinous pine and fresh citrus orange, taste has sweet caramel, pine, bitter grapefruit, some tropical fruit action of passion and mango shining through, tasty stuff.
