Open White is a deep yellow beer with a white, fine and persistent head and good lacing. At first, the scents are dominated by the aromas of cereals which, however, are almost immediately replaced by vegetal notes of green coffee, or a freshly peeled branch.
As the temperature increases, hints of spices begin to emerge. Again, the first taste to appear is that of cereals, accompanied by subtle citrusy notes balanced by a delicate bitterness that is reminiscent of the white part of citrus fruit peels, and a touch of spices. Finally, notes of yellow fruit and a slight peppery note refresh the mouth.

Like some beers of this brewery, I have found a bit boring, a kind of Duvel with less aromas and a touch of wheat, ok, without great pleasure, 20.05.19, in one bar at Freiburg

Draft at Cesena con Gusto, in Cesena, Italy. Pours pale gold with very limited white foam. Aroma is citrus. Body is average, like carbonation. Taste is fairly sweet, maybe a little too much. Finish is average.

Bottle on the train from Florence to Roma, 26/09/16. Hazed golden orange with a big old white head of bubbles that stays for the show. Nose is lemon rind, hay, white peppery spice, straw, light soap. Taste comprises lemon curd, a touch sweet, crackers, bread, grains, light herbal, lemon squash, light clove. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, seim drying close. Decent enough for style if a touch a sweet.

Keg at beer house club, Florence. A clear golden yellow coloured pour with a lasting frothy white head. Aroma is nice zesty orange, soapy lemon, wheaty doughy malts, perfume. Flavour is composed of pale grains, wheat thin mineral, lime zest. Palate is light and refreshing, nice airy carbonation. Good wit maybe a little soapy.
