Once upon a time, Sanavalle (or ‘Healthy Valley’) was the name for Follina, given the particularly health-giving qualities of its climate and waters.
Sanavalle is an amber-coloured beer with malted barley notes, a light bitterness and good ABV.
Inspired by the “Abbey” style of Belgian beers, it’s the perfect companion to a platter of cured meats and cheeses. It also goes well with meat or fish dishes, desserts and chocolate.

Bottle at airport prior to heading to Vegas for weekend of debauchery. Hazy orange with floaties small beige head. Nose is sweet fruit and yeast. Tastes of plantains, bready, orange , fig, yeast, orange peel. Touch sweet thin with some alcohol presence.

Bottiglia @ Golosaria 2015, Milano. L’intensità olfattiva è normale e la persistenza olfattiva è discreta. Il gusto al naso rimanda a etilico, pane, rose e malto. Il cappello è di schiuma a bollicine medie, cremosa e persistente. La sottostante frizzantezza consiste in bollicine fini, con carbonazione vivace e persistente. L’aspetto del liquido è limpido. Il colore è ambrato. Il corpo è pieno. Alla lingua risulta parecchia carbonazione, con l’amaro medio e l’acido leggero. L’intensità gustativa è normale e la persistenza gustativa è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali sono di birra beverina. Il finale è felpato e semplice. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. Risulta in equilibrio il malto dolce ed il luppolo amaro. I sentori in bocca sono di pane, fieno, frutta secca, agrumi, etilico e lievito.
