Der dunkle Bock von Geilings Bräu wird nur einmal im Jahr gebraut. Anlässlich der Hopfenernte wird dieses mit frischem Saphirhopfen aus Kamp-Lintfort gebraut und 4 Wochen später mit Cascade Hopfen aus eigenen Anbau verfeinert. Die zweite Hopfengabe verleiht dem Bier eine dezente Zitrusnote und steht im Einklang mit der angenehmen Malzsüße. Mit nur 6,5% Alkohol ist es ein leichter Vertreter seiner Art. Das Bier lagert fast 10 Wochen, bevor es zur Adventszeit abgefüllt und ausgeschenkt wird.

Bottle from Gabriel - Cheers! 🤟🤟 🍻🍻
Creamy tan head on a near black thick body.
Raisin, malt & toffee aroma.
Medium bodied, foamy with a smoother back.
Biscuit, bready, heavy malt, Parkin & raisin tastes with a lightly fruited finish.
Good stuff.

Huge thanks to Erzengel for that one! Bottle looks very simple but good. Beer in the glass dark brown, small head. Earthy roasty malty aroma. Starts milder than exspected, fine roasty-malty, not too dry. Mild sweetish touch. More and more earthy-dry notes, some chocolate as well. Not too sweet. Finish warming-malty. Nice one!

A very dark brown beer with a beige head. Aroma of dark breadish malt, molasses, caramel. Taste of deep caramelized malt, nuts, bread, decent sweetness. Full body.

50 cl. flip-top bottle @ home, bought @ Edeka, Kleve.
Clear brown with a tan head. Nice malty aroma with some dark caramel. Sweet taste and a sweet malty finish. Decent Dunkle bock.

Bottle:Hazy, deep amber coloured, quite big and quite stable off-white head, astonishingly dry herbal to medical-hoppy nose with a distinctive dark-malty and chocolatey background; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied and pretty soft; lingering herbal-hoppy and sweet dark-malty finish. Unusual, but nevertheless well balanced and well drinkable Bock...

Mild malzig hopfiger, deutlich holziger Antrunk. Alkoholische Tendenzen im Mittelteil, wässriger werdend. Schokoladige, leider zu laffe Aromen zum Ende. Naja. 6/8/7/8/9/7
