Trübe, tiefgolden-orange Farbe; gemischtporige, sehr stabile Schaumkrone. In der Nase süß-säuerlich, leicht hefig, Honig. Im Geschmack süßlich, säuerlich, Honig, leichte Würzigkeit, weintraubige Frucht, milde aber spürbare Hopfenbittere, wenig Kohlensäure. Für mein Empfinden fehlerhaft; in jedem Falle kein Stil, der mir besonders gefällt.

Bottle from a local supermarket. Looks simple but good. Beer in the glass copper coloured, small head. Fine malty spicy aroma. Starts mild malty, spicy, shy caramel hints. Mild hoppy-bitter background. Some notes of some herbs. Finish well balanced, soft-malty. Nice!

500ml bottle. Clear, orange, dark golden to amber colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, slightly lacing, white head. Strawy, grainy, malty aroma, a touch of spelt, mineral overtones. Taste is sweet-ish, pale and caramel malty, slightly bitter, minimally grassy hoppy, a mineral touch, weak and diluted hints of toffee, honey, Dutch gingerbread; the mineral touch becomes minimally metallic in the finish. Watery texture with an oily strand, minimally dry and repellent, simultaneously minimally cloying or rather greasy palate, very fine, mildly prickly carbonation. A tad too simple and monotonous despite the subtle honey and gingerbread aspects - so-so.

ABV: 5.5%. Clear medium to light amber colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, pale malt, sweet malt, light to moderate hoppy, grass - hay. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration, hay - straw - grass, malty, pale malt, sweet malt - caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20221229]
