Kräutrig saurer Antrunk. wenig helles Malz, die Säure überdeckt die meisten Aromen - 8 Monate vor Ablauf des MHDs. Leicht hefig. Untrinkbar. 9/4/3/3/9/3

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, deep golden to amber colour with a big and slightly tanned foamy head. Bready malty aroma with notes of caramel, butter, as well as some herbal hoppy spice in the background. Moderately sweet and delicately bitter flavour, medium bodied with a tame carbonation. Soft buttery malty base with notes of caramel, shy bready accents and a restrained hop character; slightly sticky and sweet finish with only shades of herbal hops, failing to give the right balance. 29.VI.16

Fläschla: Deep golden, hazy, small ’n stable off-white head; moderate sweetish grainy nose, some herbal hops underneath; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied, a bit tart; lingering drier, but still sweetish-bitter caramelly and herbal finish. Quite good, but only mediocre by franconian standards…
